Climate change

1. what is the greenhouse effect?

The trapping of the sun's warmth in a planet's lower atmosphere, due to the greater transparency of the atmosphere to visible radiation from the sun than to infrared radiation emitted from the planet's surface.

2. what are the 3 bad things/consequences of Climate change?

More frequent and intense drought, storms, heatwaves, rising sea levels, melting glaciers and warming oceans can directly harm animals, destroy the places they live, and wreak havoc on people's livelihoods and communities.

3. possible solution?

Keep fossil fuels in the ground.
Invest in renewable energy.
Switch to sustainable transport.
Help us keep our homes cozy.
Improve farming and encourage vegan diets.

4. Bonus: what is the Paris agreement

On 1 April 2016, the United States and China, which represent almost 40% of global emissions confirmed they would sign the Paris Climate Agreement. The Agreement was signed by 175 parties 174 states and the European Union) on the first day, it was opened for signature.
