Hi, guys so today we are going to be learning about connections to prior learning. Here are some facts.
Think about what we know before we begin reading.
List what we know about a theme or topic before reading.
Talk with our partner and/or group about what we know before reading.
Here is an example.
Text to text connections is when we compare the text we are reading to other similar text. these texts could be books or visual text such as a movie or a TV program.
