Nachos

A few weeks back we had to make nachos so first, we had to get all the ingredients for the nachos, so once we had got all our ingredients we had to start putting the things together. So we cut up all the vegetables like tomato, onion, etc so when we had cut up all the vegetables we started to cook our mince in vegetable oil. After it was well cooked we added the source and the vegetables, when it was done cooking the teacher gave everyone there own bowls of nacho chips and we had to add the mince that we had cooked into the chips and we also got put cheese on top and we ate the food.

Chemicals

Today we in Chemicals and Chaos, we are learning about particle theory and diffusion.

Particle theory is 6 rules about what particles do.

All matter is made up of particles

All particles in a pure substance are the same

There is space between all particles

Particles are always moving

There are attractive forces between particles

Temperature affects the speed at which particles move

Digestive System

Digestive System Organs

How the Digestive System Organs work.

Facts about the Small Intestine:

The small intestine is about three times the length of your body — the longest part of the digestive tract. When you eat food, it's held in your small intestine for up to four hours because your body absorbs 90 percent of our nutrients through the small intestine, into your blood and this takes time.

Facts about the Large Intestine:

The large intestine is important because it absorbs the water from food, to use it. If this did not happen we would dehydrate.

Facts about the Stomach:

The stomach breaks down the food so that the nutrients can be used to make energy.

Facts about the Oesophagus:

The esophagus takes the chewed food and takes it to the stomach.
