How the Digestive System Organs work.

Facts about the Small Intestine: 

The small intestine is about three times the length of your body — the longest part of the digestive tract. When you eat food, it's held in your small intestine for up to four hours because your body absorbs 90 percent of our nutrients through the small intestine, into your blood and this takes time. 

Facts about the Large Intestine:

The large intestine is important because it absorbs the water from food, to use it. If this did not happen we would dehydrate. 

Facts about the Stomach:

The stomach breaks down the food so that the nutrients can be used to make energy. 

Facts about the Oesophagus:

The esophagus takes the chewed food and takes it to the stomach.

Pite Pocket 

this Tuesday in my cooking class we made Pite pockets here is a photo and the ingredients we used:

1. Pita bread 
2. Onion 
3. Carrots
4. Tomato
5. Cheese
6. Lettuce
7. Sweet chilli sauce

man, my pite pocket was yummy all of the vegetables in there and the cheese and sweet chilli sauce um.

In Art class, we made photo montage. first we lookit Hannah Hoch. she is a German artist she borrows and recombines image and text to make photo manage to support women  

Music

1. Physical - Soft/round edges -
- looks like a real mum
- normal height

Costume -
Basic, no patterns, baggy loose clothing, mostly covers the body.

Colour lighting - Warm, artificial light, dull.

2. Physical - Sharper edges - head/nose. apron.

Costume - Patterns on the outfit - black / reds lose/baggy givers idea of softness.

Colour/lighting - warm, artificial, orange-yellow.

Costume - Fits her figure better

4. Physical - Stick figure lost all the fat, shes gone taller, longer neck, sharp hair, arms have gone longer, elbows gone thinner, back of her dress.

1. draw front plane edges were parallel to the picture plane (paper edges)

2. line to the vanishing point,

3. line for back and side of the cube.

5. erased lines we didn't need them.

Dissecting a pig's heart in science

this week on Tuesday in our science class we dissected a pig's heart to know why it is imported to know the stuff inside the heart.

Linking themes to the impact of angles, movement and shot

Brainstorm:

- What happening in this shot

other wybie standing on stairs outside the house. other mothers ask him to smile from the doorway, instead he frowns. other wybie making self smaller-less of a target-head down, shoulders hunched. looks weak and vulnerable.

- Angle/shot used

High angle makes wybie look overpowered, weak, and vulnerable, pov- other mother makes her seem stronger, bigger, more dominant.

- How does the viewer feel

makes the viewer feel sorry for / scared for other wybie?

- Why did the director do this

foreshadowing-hinting at what is to come? hinting that maybe the other mother isn't so wonderful.

 

- Additional info-music/lighting/colour

lighting-spotlight on wybie-like he's on the spot/under focus dark around creates a creepy atmosphere.

In the scene with the other mother and the other wybie, we see high angle shots sued to show the theme 'looks can be deceiving? We see this when the other mother asks the other wybie to smile but he hunches over and frowns instead. this makes the audience feel sorry for the other wybie because he looks scared. the use of a high angle shot from the perspective of the other mother adds to this feeling as it makes the other wybielook weak and vulnerable. the director did this to foreshadow the change of the other mother from creepy to more creepy. coinciding with this is the use of lighting, a spotlight is on the other wybie emphasizing that he is under the focus of the other mother. this reminds us of earlier in the film where a low angle shot was used to make wybie seem big and scary but really he was just ordinary-this links to the scene because it also shows a moment when the look of a character was deceiving.
