- Type:
- Is it used in NZ ?
- Other Countries that use it?
- How is it used to generate electricity?
- Draw and label a diagram of the main parts of the electricity generator? This can be done on paper and uploaded or on a drawing program on your device. I do not want any Internet images or pictures. They must be hand drawn using a ruler and labelled.

5 Things about nature
- Get a group together and explore your local mountain.
- Spend time in a garden or visit a local nursery and enjoy the spring flowers in bloom.
- Go outside and see how many native plants you can spot.
- Go outside and watch the sunset go over then watch the stars.
- Get your family together and go fruit picking.
I enjoy playing basketball and going out at night and looking at the stars.
My family plays basketball together and have lots of 3v3's it's important because it goes through the family.
Creation Story: Earth formed around 4.54 billion years ago, approximately one-third the age of the universe, by accretion from the solar nebula. Volcanic outgassing probably created the primordial
atmosphere and then the ocean, but the early atmosphere contained almost no oxygen.

New Science lab
Aim: to learn how to behave in a science
laboratory.

2. Act responsibly around dangerous objects
3. Do not run
4. put your bag under your desk
5. No food in the laboratory
6. Do not sniff or taste substances.
- Test tube - used for most experiments using liquids. They have a bung that goes in the top.
- Conical Flask - used for experiments with liquid up to 150 ml. The flask has a rubber bung for the top and the glass is heatproof.
- Glass Stirring rod - A 20cm glass rod used to stir and mix any liquids together.
- Test tube tongs - These are used to hold a hot test tube after an experiment.
- Spatula - For holding very small amounts of chemical powders.
- Funnel
- Measuring Cylinder - this is used to measure liquids for experiments. The liquids will be poured into a beaker or test tube once measured out.
ACIDIFICATION
1. What is happening to the oceans
- it is absorbing more co2.

Aim: To learn about the rate that different materials decompose.
Hypothesis: That the banana is going to decompose fast because
Materials:
Materials:
- Bananas
- brown paper
- bread
- white stylophone
- air stopper
- 4x science chub
- science chub holder
- sticky note
- pen
Steps:
- Get the stuff that you need
- write the names of the group
- put the bread, banana, white stylophone, brown paper
- put the science chub in the science chub holder
- put the air stopper in the science chubs
- stick the stick note on the science chub holder
- put it somewhere it can decompose
